New Legislation Significantly Impacts Restoration of Firearm Rights

The new rules, effective July 23, 2023, drastically change eligibility and create new rules for the restoration of firearm rights. The new rules could either be beneficial or detrimental, depending on your situation.

 

If the new rules are beneficial, you can proceed under RCW 9.41.041. However, if the new rules are detrimental, you may still be eligible for restoration under the old rules! Applying the old rules properly requires specialized legal knowledge and experience.
